Company Name: Uganda Coffee Suppliers
Website: https://www.ugandacoffeesuppliers.com
1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Uganda Coffee Suppliers. By accessing https://www.ugandacoffeesuppliers.com, submitting sample requests, or engaging in business-to-business (B2B) trade communications with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms govern all commercial transactions, sample requests, green coffee specifications, and export agreements between our company and international buyers, roasters, brokers, and importers.
2. B2B Commercial Transactions & Scope
- Business-Only Operations: https://www.ugandacoffeesuppliers.com. Our services are intended strictly for commercial buyers, roasters, and wholesale importers. We do not sell green coffee for individual consumer use.
- Contract Formation: All export orders, volume commitments, and pricing agreements are finalized through formal Sales Contracts, Proforma Invoices, or official purchase orders agreed upon by both parties, rather than direct automated checkouts on the website.
3. Coffee Grades, Quality, & Specifications
- Physical Standards: We supply green coffee in accordance with official grading guidelines set by the Uganda Coffee Development Authority (UCDA) and international standards (such as Fine Robusta Screen 18/15 and Washed Arabica Bugisu AA/AB).
- Pre-Shipment Samples (PSS): Buyers are strongly encouraged to request representative physical samples (Type Samples or PSS) prior to finalizing full container load (FCL) contracts. Final shipments will conform within commercially accepted tolerance levels to the approved pre-shipment sample.
- Moisture & Packaging: All green coffee is dried to standard export parameters (11.0% — 12.5% moisture) and packed in standard 60kg jute bags equipped with high-barrier GrainPro liners to ensure quality during transit.
4. Pricing, Payment Terms, & Incoterms
- Incoterms: International shipments are governed by agreed Incoterms 2020, typically including FOB Mombasa(Free on Board) or CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) to designated international ports.
- Payment Terms: Payment structures (such as Irrevocable Letter of Credit at sight, advance deposits, or wire transfers) are specified in the individual Sales Contract or Proforma Invoice issued for each transaction.
- Price Fluctuations: Due to the volatility of global green coffee commodity markets (ICE / London & New York exchanges) and currency exchange rates, price quotations are subject to validity periods stated on formal offers.
5. Export Compliance, Documentation, & EUDR
- Statutory Documentation: We provide standard mandatory export paperwork for every consignment, including UCDA Certificates of Origin and Quality, International Coffee Organization (ICO) certificates, and Phytosanitary Certificates issued by MAAIF.
- EUDR Traceability: For coffee exported to the European Union, we supply required traceability documentation, polygon geolocation data, and due diligence details to support compliance with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). The buyer is responsible for ensuring timely submission of Due Diligence Statements within their jurisdiction.
6. Shipping, Transit, & Force Majeure
- Delivery Windows: Estimated shipping dates and transit times provided are commercial estimates. Ocean freight is subject to carrier schedules, port congestion at Mombasa, and maritime transit conditions.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be held liable for failure or delay in fulfilling export obligations if such failure arises from acts of God, war, strikes, severe weather anomalies, governmental export bans, or major disruptions in logistics corridors beyond reasonable control.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on https://www.ugandacoffeesuppliers.com/—including text, product descriptions, brand logos, imagery, quality blueprints, and layout designs—is the property of Uganda Coffee Suppliers. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial scraping of our content is strictly prohibited.
8. Limitation of Liability
Uganda Coffee Suppliers shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from market price fluctuations, delayed ocean freight transits outside our direct operational control, or improper storage of green coffee after successful delivery at the designated port.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda, and applicable international trade customs. Any commercial disputes arising from export contracts that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Kampala, Uganda.
